Membership Application

Membership in the Society of Mayflower Descendants is open to anyone who can prove lineal descent from one or more passengers aboard the Mayflower when it landed at Plymouth, Massachusetts in December 1620.

Eligibility Requirements

• You must be able to prove direct lineage from a Mayflower passenger
• Documentation is required for each generation
• Birth certificates, marriage records, and death certificates are typically needed
• The application process includes genealogical verification

Application Process

To begin the membership application process:

1. Complete the Preliminary Review Form
2. Gather documentation for each generation from you back to your Mayflower ancestor
3. Submit your application and documentation to the society
4. Wait for genealogical review and verification

Junior Membership

We also offer Junior Membership for descendants under the age of 18. The junior enrollment fee is only $10.00.
